A. Account Management/Settings
How do I change my User name and password?
To change your user name and password, log in to RightFind and select Account Settings under the Manage Account drop-down. On the ‘Name, email and password’ tab, click the Edit links to change the user name and/or password.
How do I change the language settings for email notifications?
To change the language settings for email notifications, log in to RightFind and select Account Settings under the Manage Account drop-down. On the ‘Email notifications’ tab, click Edit to change your language preference.
How do I change my location?
In the header area of RightFind, select your location from the drop-down list.
What if I do not see my location listed?
Locations are specified by your company administrator. You should contact them directly if you do not see your location listed.
B. Search & Permissions
How do I find a publication?
In order to find a publication, select Publications and enter your search query in the Search box. You may search for a publication by using any of the following parameters:
To search specific parameters, click the Advanced Search link. On the Advanced Search page, click the Publications link. You can select multiple fields for searching, and specify limiters in the Limit Results box.
How do I find an article/chapter?
In order to find an article or chapter, select Articles/Chapters and enter your search query in the Search box. You may search for an article/chapter by using any of the following parameters:

How do I check for license coverage?
License coverage is determined by your Organization’s licenses and your location. To view the license coverage for an article/chapter or publication, search for it on RightFind. In the search results, you will see the coverage information under the heading - “How can I use this copyrighted content?”
When a work is not covered by my license, how can I request coverage?
When a work is not covered by your license, click the type of use. In the dialog box, click the Request Coverage button.
Why do I need to specify my location?
You need to specify your location to determine the rights that apply to you under your organization’s CCC licenses.
C. Content Rental & Purchase
Why do some works have an Order Article option?
The articles/chapters that show up with the ‘Order’ option are those that are not available for viewing but are available to purchase or rent through CCC. Articles/chapters that are not available for both viewing or purchasing, will not have either the Order or the View option.
Why do some works have a View option?
The ‘View’ option is available for articles that you can freely access. Access can be granted several ways:
How is article rental different from purchase?
When you rent an article or chapter, the access will be limited to a certain time period as provided by the Publisher. You will not have the ability to download or print the article. There may be exceptions as per the Publisher’s terms and policies.
Where can I check the status of my order?
To check the status of your request, login to RightFind and select View Your Orders under the Manage Account drop-down. You may view all pending requests (if applicable), view orders by date and search for orders.
How will I receive the content I purchased/rented?
When the content you rented or purchased is ready, you will be notified via email with a link to the requested article/chapter.
